Hegi Design House

Born from the inspiration of international travels, Hegi Design House is husband and wife Juri and Nelli, a hand-crafted small human named Mia Rose, and a horse-like dog.

Based in Gerringong, NSW, Hegi is a design studio dedicated to creating furniture from sustainably-sourced materials. Juri’s has a background in cabinetmaking and welding, and his scrupulous attention to detail is demonstrated in his workmanship. For almost a decade, Nelli has worked as marketing manager and designer for international companies.

Having both loved furniture design and handmade pieces, as a team they have combined their soulfulness and craft in all aspects of the business. Passionate about sustainable timber and steel, Hegi weave these elements in to their minimalistic furniture. Together these elements contribute to a tangible sense of classic sophistication at home. Whether a dining table, or a lounge chair, Hegi strives to infuse simple elegance in to every design, hand-crafting standout pieces designed to be handed down to future generations.
