Terms & Conditions
Miko Designs may make changes to this website and these Terms and Conditions without prior notice. These terms and conditions will form the agreement (the “Agreement”) between Miko Designs and the Customer.
Please contact Miko Designs with queries on these Terms and Conditions or the products on the website.
Customers may be requested to provide our suppliers with information, assistance or feedback. In order for us to service all customers efficiently, we require customers to respond to our requests in a timely manner.
Lead times are as stated on product pages. To clarify lead times, or for a custom lead time request, contact Miko Designs prior to submitting order.
While we attempt to ensure customers receive ordered products on time, lead times and delivery dates are estimates. Miko Designs accepts no liability for failure to deliver the products due to delays from our suppliers or other unforeseen circumstances. Miko Designs will not accept liability for loss or inconvenience as the result of any delay.
By placing an order on the Miko Designs website you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by this Agreement.
On despatch of the ordered products, the agreement has been completed.
Cancelling an order
Requests to change or cancel orders must be made in writing within 24 hours of ordering. Once an order has been placed and accepted by Miko Designs, no cancellation can be made of that order unless you have received a written communication confirming the cancellation of that order. Changes or cancellations may only occur if the ordered products have not been despatched or started to be manufactured.
Miko Designs may cancel your order due to:
- An error in pricing or description
- Payment being unable to be authorised
- The product you ordered being unavailable from stock or our capacity to manufacture.
Miko Designs reserves the right to reject any purchase offer at any time.
Returns and Refunds
Unless goods are faulty or defective no refunds or returns will be accepted. Miko Designs does not accept returns or offer refunds based on change of mind or variation in natural materials.
If a product is proven to be faulty or defective, the Customer is entitled to the restoration of the goods or replacement, whichever is decided the most effective and efficient. This commitment does not cover:
- breakage caused by negligent and or improper use of the goods
- changes by normal wear and tear
- damage due to lack of or incorrect maintenance
- damage due to accident or force
- change in finish caused by environmental factors.
Delivery costs vary due to product size and weight. On some products Miko Designs will provide you with an estimate which will be confirmed once the product has been manufactured. Customers agree to pay the cost of delivery on these terms. Please feel welcome to contact Miko Designs prior to ordering and we will do our best to provide an estimated delivery cost wherever possible.
Inspection of your products
Please inspect products upon delivery notify Miko Designs in writing within 48 hours of the delivery of any damages, shortfalls or complaints. We will not be liable for any damage to any products that were not notified within these parameters.
Unless goods are faulty or defective and we are fully notified as outlined above, we cannot refund, exchange or credit your account.
Variance in products
Miko Design’s supplier’s manufacture hand-made products using natural materials. Variances in texture, colour and grain may appear. While all reasonable efforts are made to match products with the descriptions, specifications and imagery on the website, these are a guide only. Returns cannot be accepted based on natural variations nor those that occur during the manufacturing process.
