Folded Shelves – Muuto
Accentuating the look of folded paper yet created in metal, the Folded Shelves are at once delicate and substantive. The shelves are practical and aesthetically pleasing, ideal for use as a nightstand, in the bathroom, hallway, kitchen, or office.
Johan Van Hengel is a Dutch designer, based in Rotterdam. With a technical background in industrial design, he worked on both consumer electronics and furniture before launching his own studio in 2013, focused on furniture, lighting and living accessories.
Accentuating the look of folded paper yet created in metal, the Folded Shelves are at once delicate and substantive. The shelves are practical and aesthetically pleasing, ideal for use as a nightstand, in the bathroom, hallway, kitchen, or office.
