Wood and metal combine in a design that uses the beauty and simplicity of basic geometric shapes. The Scantling is based on a highly functional and flexible system, in which all the movements of the fully rotational shade use ball joints and arms to create a versatile, easy-to-move light.

The word Scantling refers to a wooden strip that was formerly used as a unit of measurement, especially in shipbuilding—and that is precisely what stands out the most about the wall version, the small wooden handle that allows for easy control of the shade position.

The Scantling collection also includes two floor versions and one table version.

Atlas transforms a common bulb into a spotlight, enveloping it following its outline. Taking its nudity as the starting point, it dresses the bulb up with a transparent suit that also gives the lamp the added benefit of lightness.

Made of transparent polycarbonate and a polyamide base, this directional spotlight  can be grouped in bases of two units.

Heir to the original Funiculí, Marset has introduced a new version with a fabric shade, a design that Lluís Porqueras first conceived in 1979. The essence of both lamps continues to be their simplicity, but the new design is chic and classical, perhaps even more sophisticated than the original.

The Aura follows an emotional design, because of what glass means in the collective memory, as well as a rational and contemporary design because it draws on LED technology to achieve efficiency and subtlety. The opalescent, transparent, or coloured glass of its lampshade allows the light to bathe the wall and creates a luminous effect without harshness, while also generating a point of interest in the space.

The starting point for the Ambrosia was to bring back the traditional Linestra lamp to update it and show that a technical, resolute design can also be poetic. The Linestra was initially a line of light, which transitioned into a modular system that can be extended to adapt to any space.

For designers George Yabu and Glenn Pushelberg, design is about telling stories. This is certainly true in their new Konoha model, a twin-function wall lamp that tells us what types of lighting we need around us and offers all the right possibilities to make them happen.

The shade, like a hat, covers the spotlight, allowing the light to be directed upwards, bounce off the inside and project a beam of soft light, creating warm ambient lighting. If instead the spotlight is focused downwards, it projects a beam of direct light, turning the fixture into a reading lamp.

Wood is a great ally of cosy lighting. It is a material that is hard to mould, a challenge that the Ginger collection neatly resolves. The combination of sheets of wood, paper and resins pressed together under high pressure achieves a laminate that appears almost entirely flat and discreetly lights up spaces with indirect light.

Beyond its function as a lamp, the Dipping Light seeks to excite. While on, its different shades of paint sift the light, creating a magical ambient effect. When off, its coloured glass sphere is an object charged with beauty, and eye-catching design piece.

The Dipping Light was created as an experiment – dipping a lit bulb into paint several times – with the end result of this table lamp. The various layers of paint draw concentric circles and capture the light, moderating its intensity. The paint becomes the shade, colouring and texturising the light. A brass or graphite base is added for support. This artisanal process will make each lamp a unique and exclusive creation.

As a wall light, this design comes in two different versions, one offering lighting horizontally, and the other vertically. The finish of the base also comes in a choice of brushed  brass or graphite.

The beauty of the Mercer is from both its pure shape and how its materials blend together. The transparent blown glass structure envelops the textile shade, which appears to float, conveying lightness and sophistication. The inner diffuser fabric is available in ecru cotton ribbon, or a modern and minimalist version pearl white.

For Lluís Porqueras, designing consisted of eliminating the superfluous until an essential object was left: beautiful, useful and simple. This was the case with the Funiculí, a 1979 lamp that Marset reissued in 2013 and which has become an emblem of the collection.

Lightweight, it takes up almost no space and can function as an ambient lamp or for direct light, depending on how you direct the beam. Its designer released the shade to give maximum mobility. It can rotate through 360 degrees to focus the light where you want and also has a double clamp system for height adjustment.

The Nº8 reading lamp fulfils all the necessary criteria for perfect operation:  efficient light, easy handling, durability, and beauty. It was designed specifically to respond to each of these requirements, resulting in a “well-rounded” fixture that fulfils its mission perfectly.

The Mercer Ceiling stands out for its subtle reversal of roles, with the cloth shade inside a structure of transparent blown glass. The glass delicately protects the shade in a natural pleated cotton or sophisticated pearl white fabric, at the same time as producing additional reflections. The lamp provides the ceiling of a room a delicate, warm glow, while providing illumination.

The Soho makes a statement in recognition of those lamps that were traditionally used to light up markets, taverns and cafeterias.

It is made from rotation-moulded polyethylene, a technique that allows us to offer it in different sizes: 38-cm diameter for smaller spaces, 57 cm and 112 cm for large spaces. This collection is also available for outdoors, including wall and floor versions in different colours: black, grey, translucent white, sand and sky blue.
