Karl-Johan Portable Table Lamp – New Works

Designed by Signe Hytte for New Works, the Karl-Johan Portable Table Lamp adapts the collection's mushroom-inspired silhouette for cordless use indoors and outside. The impact-resistant body is designed to withstand rain, dew, sand and soil while retaining the soft, familiar form of the original lamp.

A twist of the upper section switches the lamp on, while a touch control beneath the base provides three brightness levels. The rechargeable battery offers up to 22 hours of light.

Designed by Anderssen & Voll for New Works, the Lantern Portable Table Lamp brings the rippled opal-glass character of the Lantern family into a rechargeable form. A black metal handle makes it easy to carry or hang, while the frosted globe creates a soft, diffused pool of light.

A three-step dimmer and magnetic charging cable make Lantern practical indoors and out, from bedside tables and shelves to terraces and evening gatherings.
